Regeneration: The Master caused the TARDIS to make an emergency landing in 1999 San Francisco, where the Doctor was shot in the middle of a gang shoot-out. He was taken to a hospital, where surgeons removed the bullets but mistook his double heartbeat for fibrillation, and their attempts to save him killed his incarnation. Due to the anesthesia, his regeneration did not occur for several hours.

Notable Characteristics: The Seventh Doctor showed remarkable changes in attitude, beginning as bumbling and progressing to a dark manipulator. He was generally curious, excitable, and charming, and was somewhat whimsical, showing an affinity for magic tricks, illusions, and idiosyncratic speeches. He was the incarnation that spanned the seven year hiatus between the series cancellation and the TV movie.

Notable Episode: Remembrance of the Daleks was a four episode arc from Season 25. The Doctor and Ace arrive in 1963 London where unusual events are unfolding at Coal Hill School and Totters Lane junkyard, where the Doctor discovers the Daleks are planning to perfect their own time-traveling capability using stolen Time Lord technology.

Recipe: Seven Layer Dip

16 oz. refried beans
1 (1 1/4 oz.) package taco seasoning
1 cup sour cream
1 cup guacamole
1 cup salsa
1 cup lettuce
1 cup Mexican blend cheese
4 oz. sliced black olives
1 cup chopped tomato
1 red bell pepper
Blue corn tortilla chips

In a tall glass bowl, layer in this order:
16 oz. refried beans mixed with 1 package taco seasoning
1 cup sour cream
1 cup guacamole
1 cup salsa
1 cup lettuce mixed with 1 cup tomato
1 cup Mexican cheese
4 oz. sliced olives

Carefully make the layers even. From the side of the bowl, it should resemble an infamous sweater vest from the late 80s.

Slice the bell pepper into question mark shapes and garnish the top. Serve with TARDIS blue corn chips.
