After spending a good portion of our 8am class talking about Starbucks’ business plan and being bombarded with ads for free “petite sweets” in the Metro Times, Danielle convinced Kelsey and my caffeine addiction to go with her to one of the (get this, four) Starbucks in city center.
Unfortunately there was apparently some sort of coupon needed to get the aforementioned miracle goodies, so I was instead stuck with just buying a reminder of why Caribou Coffee is the best American coffee company.
We stayed downtown for a while for errands and blatant wandering. Danielle needed to replace her DART pass, Kelsey needed a box from the post office, and I needed a break from sitting at home researching Newgrange and the Hill of Tara.
Now that I’m back home it’s time to start up the research again and catch up on laundry.
